Default Update on my BMWs1000rrparts.com (aka Bellissimoto) Experience

As a followup to my previous posting, I'm happy to report the following.

Randy gave me a call yesterday and was very calm and apologetic for the delay and misunderstanding. He explained that all of my items were in transit and would be arriving shortly.

For the past two days, the parts have been showing up on my doorstep when I get home from work and I'm a happy camper. The only outstanding items are drop ships and I assume they'll be here in a few days as well.

To sum things up, I wasn't happy with how this deal started. It took a long time to get traction. But now that we have it, things appear to be moving along very quickly and efficiently.

In light of all that transpired, Randy was kind enough to offer up a 10% Forum Member Discount retroactively, as I hadn't mentioned that I was a forum member when I ordered. I wasn't playing nice when I thought my parts weren't coming and started the previous thread. So the 10% was a nice touch, Randy. Kudos, and thank you. But, keep the 10% for taking the high road.

Glad it worked out Bill, thanks for posting up the followup. It's tough being on either side of that fence. This shows quite a bit of character on both of your parts!

I have always had a positive experience with Randy before. Glad your situation has been resolved and hopefully there are no future issues.

I think Randy did the best that he could price wise, so no problems there. I do know that there are a lot of parts on backorder for this bike. I am waiting for LSL rearsets and Devil Exhaust from Randy. I could also be waiting a few months for CF parts that I ordered through Hard Racing, but no problem since it is winter now.

The discount mentioned above I think was specific to Bill's situation in an effort to make things right.

That being said, I think if you're ordering a lot of stuff, most of the Vendors on here will offer some sort of discount, you may just have to ask. Some of the pricing they offer on the forum is discounted from what their website advertises in an effort to support the community but still make a buck.

I ordered in October as well. Received rearsets via drop ship 3 weeks ago, received Devil exhaust and Yoshi sliders yesterday, and still waiting on Titax levers.

I think the problem is that they are selling parts made outside of the US that are produced in small quantities for the S1. But, I really wanted the Devil exhaust and now I have it and should be on the bike with other parts very soon.
