San Francisco Bay Area: Northwest? or Southwest?

I'd consider SF to be northwest, just because it is so different from LA...but wanted to know if anyone else on this forum considers SF to belong here?

San Francisco is most definitely considered North West...

Norcal - Definitely Northwest. Should be in the Northwest Forum.

Big differences between Norcal and Socal; politically, socially, and a myriad of other ways.

I have found SLO (San Luis Obispo) to be an interesting mix of Los Angeles, Norcal and College town influences.

I was wondering the same thing. My definition of Southwest is Arizona/New Mexico, so I would say SF is Northwest. I'm in the South Bay.
