Default PNW Weather in November - Fantastic !!!

As a Pacific North West rider, I can't help myself.
Near 70-degree (F) weather at the beginning of November. (That's mid-fall for you southern hemisphere guys).
Can you believe it?

I am so pumped up. For a few days, I could give a rip about Battery Tenders, heated grips and clothing, winter projects on the bike, or other general maintenance.

I'm out riding, making sure Swanny doesn't creep up on my high mileage goal for the year. If he's getting another thousand in, then so am I.

I live for short bursts of fine weather like this. The roads are mostly dry, most of the leaves on the road have been "mushed", and that along with the muddy grit has been washed away with a deluge of rain we had earlier this week.

My bikes never really "hibernate". No need. Mild weather rules, but good weather like this rocks.

How about you?

Glad to hear someone will be able to enjoy it, I'm stuck in the office all day. Have fun Rainman, but watch out for leaves and needles scattered on the foothill roads if that is where you're headed.

Since you've been after me about my # of miles... although I have no where near what you put down this year, I did get more than my normal year is worth. Would have been more if I didn't find a new addiction for a number of my weekends - The Track!

Thumbs up

It's friggin' beautiful out!
I should call in sick tomorrow and put in a 500 mile day!
I just cracked the 5k mark....goal is 6k before Christmas and if the weather keep going like this it should be no problem!

See you out there Rainman!

I'm with you and the no hibernation for my bikes, it gets pretty cold here in the North East (NY), but I bundle up and take the bikes out for a spin thru out the cold weather. Granted not long rides, but 2-3 miles just to keep me and the bikes sane.
