Default PNW S1KRR Group ride?

What do you folks think?? If there's enough interest we can start putting something together. Long ride, spend a day on highway 7 maybe even a weekend trip or anything else. Just looking for some input!

Thumbs up

I've been wanting something like this to happen fer a while. Get us all together fer a group shot, then head out fer a ride up in the mountains, maybe over White Pass...some lunch @ Whistling Jacks....then back via 410 and Chinook.
The only trouble is I'm going to Redmond fer the National Rally (july 15-18), then it's SBNW (july 28-1st).

The only day I could do it in July is the 25 (sun).

I say we shoot for Aug. 7th or 8th....that gives plenty of time to plan and get the word out.....and there are no scheduled WMRRA events. The only problem there is it's Seafair weekend.

So there's my input....but I'm all ears....

I think Aug would be great! And would love to see your bikes... Mine is completely unmodded so far... I just reached 600 miles. Time to turn her on!

Default On any Sunday

I'm on vacation the last week of July and the first week of August, so if we're thinking of Sunday, August 8th, I'm in.

Doing the Rally in the Gorge July 28 - August 1 so this sounds pretty good. Looking forward to it.

Took a ride out to Whistling Jacks today, staying on 410 both directions. Great weather, just a lot of slow tourist traffic on the west side of Chinook Pass, fairly open on the east side of the pass. The White Pass & Chinook Pass route for Aug 8th should be a fun ride.

Also, spied a silver S1KRR at Whistling Jacks while fueling up. The owner came over and we chatted for about 15 minutes about our bikes, we both said that this was the first time we saw another S1KRR while riding. He picked his up at Ride West this past Feb or March.

Also, on the way back down the west side of Chinook Pass my bike got a little too much attention from the park ranger, got nailed for 55 in a 35 zone. My first speeding ticket ever on a motorcycle. Damn twisty roads are just begging to be ridden at speed.

Default M-Coupe performance award!

Dude! I got pulled over by a Park Ranger a couple of weeks ago....but he let me go....I was only doing like 5 over! The curse of the Acid Green.....pulled over 3 times and 1 ticket since March.

So what's the deal guys? Are we on for the 8th?
I'm committed....who else is 100% IN?

It's been a while since I did the 12 to 410 loop (3 pass blast). We could even do 7 to 12 to 410 and back home....
I'm assuming we'd meet @ SSBMW but anywhere in Enumclaw would work too....THE "76" GAS STATION @ THE CORNER OF 410 AND 164 (Roosevelt and Griffin) is a great spot to h/u. Let's make this happen!

And if it ended up being a shorter ride that'd be fine too....I just want attendance to be HIGH!

Chime in!

I'm IN.
Unless you're also coming from Seattle or the north end , the Enumclaw 76 works for me as a meeting place.

I like leaving the Seattle area down I-405, then east on I-90 to Issaquah or Hwy-18, then taking the backroads from the Issaquah-Hobart road down to Enumclaw.

Let me know if you want to meet up anywhere along that way.
Somebody set a time for leaving Enumclaw.
