Northern VA Inspection

I am new to northern VA and need to get a bike inspected. Took off aftermarket turn signals because they are not DOT or SAE approved. I am told they are not required, but if you have them they must be DOT or SAE. I am wondering about my HID headlight now, and sideways plate. Never had an issue in NJ, NY, or FL, though in FL they don't inspect.

Anyway, does anyone know a good place, not a dealer, who does motorcycle inspections? I am in Alexandria, but location is not important, I will ride where I need to go.

Pretty much any little gas station should be ok. You should be fine with the HIDs but do you have a license plate light? Some places really look for it.

You should be good to go then. Have fun out there and be careful of the local leos. If you ever want to come out to MD and ride let me know. I usually ride in Frederick and WV.
