Default Anyone attending the CSBS next May at VIR?

Anyone attending the CSBS next May at VIR? Just signed up for the 2 day course for mid may 2011. Maybe we can roll together.

I went to VIR for level 1 in August and had a blast. I definetly want to go and do least level 2, if not a 2 day...but I am considering going to a different track. Nothing against VIR, but I want to try a different track. I'll have to check the work schedule and see how it plays out though.

Overall its a great experience, they really break everything down to a science. For me though, I think I realized mistakes I never knew I was making (i.e. not leaning enough with my body in turns) and overall increased my knowledge/confidence in cornering. I think 2 of the drills that helped me the most were the visualization (Look to the apex, look to the exit) and the relaxation (relaxing your arms once the bike is turning)...it sounds simple, but I definetly ride better on the street after practicing that on the track.

VIR is a great track to learn on as well, definetly worth the money.

I did Level 1,2(2 day camp) and then decided to stay another day for Level 3 at Willow Springs. Willow is a high technical track with lot of types of corners and level changes...highly recomended!
If Ill go through it again...I will split the 4 levels in 2, 2 day camps....way more atention is received on the 2 day camps, that in the common level courses!

I went to Level 1 last August at VIR (got thoroughly saturated-ly soggy in my leathers from the downpour), but I learned a lot, and overall as their workshop-session-workshop teaching techniques worked well. I felt a lot more comfortable moving around on/with the bike after the class, on the track. I loved VIR, and I felt noticeably better at my next trackday at CMP in Kershaw, SC. I road one of their S1000RRs, which I will do again when I go back (much easier to ride than my Aprilia, surprisingly so).

I will definitely be there for Level 2 and hopefully level 3. I am located in SW Virginia, but it would be nice to meet some of you guys from the forum at the school. Cheers!

I agree, I haven't been back to the track yet...but I definetly feel more comfortable riding the mountains here in the Roanoke Valley. I missed the rain at VIR in August...but with heat/humidity I was definetly soaked in my leathers.

I think you're one of the three S1000RRs that I know of here in the Roanoke area, you know of any others?
