You mean California?

We got big pot holes here and I've seen Chilean miners crawling out of them.

Cop bikes been getting a lot of new rims too at the dealer too. Potholes are low priority here and in Fresno they just throw a board or slick steel plate over them.

I can't speak for Fresno, but here in the greater San Fransisco Bay Bay Area (aka know as Silicon Valley) we have really great roads, not perfect, but over all very good. Most of the major freeways (101, 85, 280, 680, 17) are in pristine condition, with most receiving new pavement in the past year or so.

Hope this helps,

Triple

Default westchester country, just north of "da bronx'

I am just north of white plains,ny and ride westchester county, mostly northern, putnam county and lower connecticut. Great sport bike roads, but westchester roads are just dangerous. Pretty much have certain roads i frequent with the bmw and have to memorize the real bad spots. I use my gixxer 1000, or c14 to "scout" other the roads. Had 2 very high speed, leaned way over, big hits, this year, that almost put me down. Plus countless hits that i was not able to avoid, due to high speeds. Besides damage to rims, bearing, and body joints, i don't look far down the road, as one should,"getting the big picture", since i am always searching for potholes and broken pavement. The worst part is they do not fix the holes unless you call the particular town or n.y.state, otherwise they will not be fixed, even during the summer. I have a c6 vett (z51) that takes a beating while beating me up. You guys down south don't know how lucky you are!!!
