Just bought a 16 S1000RR!

Hi all! It's my first BMW so it will be a somewhat new experience for me. I say somewhat because I've owned, at one point or another, my fair share of Japanese literbikes. I was waiting for some of the 17 model year bikes to come out and stumbled on a killer deal. It the red and white which isn't my favorite color combo but it doesn't look too bad. All stock with 66 miles on it! This will be an adventure for sure.

Welcome. I prefer 16 over 17.

Congratulations! And welcome.

Red and white is acceptable. I understand some even like it.

Welcome!

Red is fastest man from 16 black/red is my favorite.

What kind of deal did you get? I have friends who "said" they got killer deals ended up paying average OTD. Fully loaded?

I can relate to all you said.
My first BMW. Red/White was not my first choice as I already have several red bikes and cars. But the price was right.

Welcome! Just picked up my baby last month. Love it . Mine was black and red, but my company colors are black and yellow. Easy fix

Congrats!

Same here on the red and white - I have two red Ducs. Wanted red, white and blue, but got a great price - actually pretty happy with the red and white now. Would be happy to have another.

I find closing my eyes is a great way to look at them. Try it, it works!

When you are riding it matters not; you do not look at the bike then.
