Hi there,
Currently riding a BMW R9T which is great fun but no match for my friends and their RSV4s/R1Ms/Panigale1198R when heading up into the back roads of Malaysia. Thinking of either swapping the R9T (but don't want to) or adding the S1000RR to the stable.
I have pretty much pushed the R9T as hard as it will go in speed and in handling and feel the time has come to have a sports bike for these days.
Haven't ridden the S1000RR yet but gather it is reasonably forgiving if handled with care. And has the benefit of lighting up when the road allows.
Good to be here - look forward to researching the ins and outs of 1000RR ownership within these threads.
