Default Yorkshire Newbie (UK)

Greetings all

I am located in West Yorkshire (uk)

I picked up my Sun Yellow RR sport last Friday, I am not a knee down type of rider albeit the thought does appeal to me. I have had a few 1000cc+ bikes but this is my first fully fledged sport bike, and I am loving every single mile.

Looking forward to some banter and as important some advice on riding and modifications.

Here is a pic hopefully, I know you have all seen them before and own your own, but I thought it would be rude not to.

Mick

Hi guys thanks for the responses,

Smiling it really has brought the smile back into riding, i have still to get to the limiter off mine, covered 380 miles over the weekend, but my enthusiasm to get 600 on it was more than my backside could take after owning a GS12.

Alan Jeffries it was too I traded my FZ1 in a couple of years ago for a gs12 and although it was a pretty capable bike, it was just too safe and well comfortable, It did everything well but just no excitement. I am happy to see another West Yorkshire owner in here too.

Default New too

Hi Mick, from t'other side of A1. Picked up mine two weeks ago and absolutely delighted with it. What an engine ! It is much easier to ride than the GS I used to have. A good ride is A168 from Walshford (near Wetherby) up to Dishforth. Join the A19 and come off at Thirsk and then take the A170 to Pickering then down A168 to Malton then B1248 to Fridaythorpe (Seaways Cafe) then A166 to York etc. You probably know this route....You can get the best from the RR on this route...
Take care
Richard
