Hey there folks,

I've just found this forum whilst looking for information on the 2012 model - I've taken the current model out for a couple longish (four hours each) test rides and will be getting the new model in April next year (providing it's out by then). I'm hoping the current yellow paint scheme will still be available - it's either that or the black one.

I currently ride a Hayabusa which I will be PX'ing. Great bike but I fancy something a bit smaller and easier to flick about.

I'm back! This time with my very own S1000RR!

Picked her up on 5 March and have done just over 1200 miles since. Loving the bike and looking forward to many more rewarding miles.

Mods to date are modest - MRA screen, tech specs, D3 tail tidy and smoke tail light with integrated indicators. The rest will have to wait as finances are tight... for now at least.

Just because you've never seen a yellow one... here's a pic on day two (after I'd fitted the screen).
