Hello from TX
Hi folks,
Got my S1000RR a couple weeks ago and have posted a couple times but haven't really introduced myself. My name is Luther and I currently live in San Antonio, TX. I'm in the USAF and work as an MTI.
Prior to my BMW I was using a '10 ZX6R as my daily commuter and weekend fun toy. Now my ZX6R has been transformed into a track only bike and my BMW is my commuter and weekend bike.

Welcome aboard Luther and thank you for your service!
Great choice for both track and street. Having a 600 on the track will make you a better rider quicker than a big bike IMO. They are a LOT of fun.

Definetly. Where in NM are you at? I was raised in Las Cruces and stationed in Abq for a few years.
I've been to the track on the 600 before and really enjoyed it so figured I would continue to take it there since I was used to it already.

Still peaceful, but some of the pretty is gone due to that huge fire that ripped right by town at the end of June/early July. Burned up a bit of the Jemez, pretty disheartening for sure.
