New owner in Kentucky
I am a proud new owner of a 2011 shine yellow. I have never had a motorcycle that is as fast as this one. I have had it for a few weeks and it impresses me everytime I go out. I had a couple of GSXR 750s, and a 08 GSXR 1000, and there is no comparison.

Thanks, not sure how I missed that. Maybe it has to do with my denial of how much I love the yellow S1000RR.

That's funny triple. They did and even had throttles.
Brown 1000 I am in Louisville. We will have to get together some time for a ride.
I have been reading and researching on here for a little while, and you guys have been very helpful that's for sure.

I'm also from Kentucky (Oldham Co). We should get together and swap lies. Ever go to the BMW rider's meeting over at Java Brewing Co in Prospect?

Alright, I live in Louisville also. My bike hasn't seen much street riding this season because of my track days and work schedules. Check out louisville-sportbikes.com for a track day coming 9/4 at Putnam Park Road Course in Indiana.

Looks like we just missed the monthly LBMWR meeting (it was the 13th). You can follow that group here - LBMWR : Louisville BMW Riders.
As for meeting to ride, most any location any will do. How's Sunday the 21st or 28th?
jamesf30, I'm not booked for Putnam 9/4 but I've got Barber 9/17 and Putnam 9/25 with Commonwealth.
