Default One of a few S1000RRs in Indiana, USA

Hello everyone! I came across this forum doing some research for the purchase of my new 2011 BMW S1KRR. I just picked her up on Friday and am IMPATIENTLY awaiting to get into service so they can lift the 9K restrictions. I've yet to see another S1K in Indy, where I usually ride but hope there's a few more out there!

Love this bike so far!!

BUT....

I did keep my 01 GSXR750 due to my g/f's comfort, she hates my S1K for passenger reasons! LOL

Welcome aboard... A Hoosier. I grew up in Southern Indiana... Honestly don't miss it (the humidity), but love when I go back and see all the green (the better side of humidity I guess).

Congrats and Welcome. I actually just graduated from Purdue last year and miss those cornfield roads desperately.

Those first 600 miles are killer but the end result is unbelievable. Start doing some curls so your arms don't get ripped off

I went to Culver Military Academy (up near Lake Maxinkuckee). Those back country rodes can be fun, just be sure to give yourself enough time to slow down for those 90 degree turns that pop up out of nowhere!

Welcome, I am a Kentucky resident but we visit Putnam Park Raceway quite a bit. Hope to see you there one day.
