Hi my name is Britt I purchased my 2011 S1000RR back around late March/ early April. I absolutely love the bike and have now put close to 4300 miles on it. I previously owned a CBR600RR Repsol edition and as much as I loved my Repsol the S1000RR is in a whole different universe.

I look forward to meeting some of you!

Welcome to the forum Britt. Good to hear you've been putting on the miles. I'm just down the road from you in Renton, been a S1000RR owner since June of 2010. There's a few others on this forum from the Seattle area as well.

John

Welcome Britt. Always nice to meet somebody else from the Northwest.
Probably have a good idea what your Repsol looked like , what color did you get and which dealer did you buy from?

Went with the motorsports colors and I picked it up at Ridewest BMW. Bike is currently almost completely bone stock but it does have a fender elim. kit and HID low/high beams. Also ended up grabbing the whole DoubleR suit in the motorsports colors but I'm trying to sell that.

Default Excellent choice....

BOOM!
Kick ass man! I'm in Renton as well.
Head down to one of the Backfire Moto events in Ballard.
Me and Rainman usually find time to hit it....it's usually the 3rd Wed. of every month.
Pipefitter usually hits it as well. I'd be sweet to get a bunch of us down there one night.
PEACE!.....and welcome aboard!
