Talking Hail from fairbanks ak!

Yo everyone! New to the forums here. My name is Jeff. Im serving in the USAF and Im stationed in Alaska. I love riding. I used to have a 06 ZX6R, liked it. Bought the S1000rr 3 weeks ago, and I absolutely love it!! Still breaking her in at the moment, so the rev limiter is driving me bananas, and I need to dial my suspension in....still stock settings :/ but its all good. She's still plenty powerful! The look of the bike is stunning too! Got the yeller one...anyways, just wanted to say whats up to the forum! Im sure there's plenty of info around here to dig into...and I'll hit you guys up with questions!! Be easy everyone!
Jeff

Welcome... So the riding season up there must be all of 4 months, right?

When I firsdt came to the USA from Scotland, I worked on a fishing boat off Kodiak.. Drove up to Tok junction, then down the Alcan when the season finished.. Love Alaska...

Yea we got about 4 good months to ride :/ But definetly worth it! We got the mountains and some twisties here and there. The 8mo of winter gives me time for the winter projects tho

Thank you good sir! And proud to serve! Yes the bike smoothly bangs thru the gears at 14K via quickshifter, or clutch, whichever one prefers, lol!!!
