Hello I have been reading about this wonderful bike.

Just show up at your local dealer with a valid motorcycle license, DOT helmet, boots and gloves... and awaaaayyy you go..... Take your check book because you will want to buy it after the demo ride.

You must pay pal me first, which will cost you around $200. If you choose not to pay, don't worry. You can still test ride the S1000RR, it will just have the 9k rpm limiter activated. After payment/non payment, I'll call the BMW Mottorad dealer nearest you and set you up with an appt. I'll make sure they have the color bike of your choice. The bike will be set up in Rain mode upon arrival (if you paid for the unlimited test). When you get the feel of the bike the tech can switch the modes for you. Although there is a fee for this. $20, for each mode to be exact. Which goes to the service Tech supervisor.

If you have any questions or you're ready to pay please PM me so I can set you up.

Cheers!

My dealer required proof of insurance before I rode(requirement for everybody). I called my agent at State Farm and they added the demo bike to my policy for 24 hours, no additional charge. The insurance was mainly to protect me from anything. The bike was already covered by the dealer.

Valid motorcycle license and a signed waiver was all it took here in SC. I had all my gear too. Last time I was in for service there were four guys in t shirts and jeans taking turns on the demo bike. No helmet law here. Myself personally though, I like the idea of crashing more than once in my life!

Touring Sport let me demo ride with just a Permit! I guess they thought i was mature enough not to lay her down! Had my helmet, jacket, boot, gloves and kevlar jeans. I had to sign a waiver too.
