Helo neighbor! =) not so much s1000's here in Indonesia... In malaysia there should be alot right??

The problem in Indonesia is there is no BMW motorcycle dealership, so everyone is stuck with the 9000K rev limiter, since no dealer can remove it

How is Malaysia?

If you buy a little tool called a GS-911, you won't need a dealer to remove the rev limiter... it'll do it for you.

Is it hard to operate the GS-911? and which one is worth it, the pro or the enthusiast?

BTW, do i have to wait till it reaches 600 miles or i can do it even prior to hitting the 600 miles?

Very intuitive tool. The pro version is if you want to hook it up to a ton of different bikes. I'd say you'd be fine w/the enthusiast version.

I believe that the GS-911 tool will remove the limiter once you've reached 312 miles... at least that is what another forum member reported. I have the tool at home, just never looked into that aspect of it. You can also put the rev limiter back on if you want.

There are less than 100 units here and I hardly see them on the roads. I hope you get to remove the limiter as it will unleash the bike's true potential.

There are quite a number of nice roads here. My favorite is the Sg Koyan to Ringlet hilly road - its pretty smooth, sweeping corners with good road camber - just about ideal to flex the s1k muscles. You should try it one day.
