Default Hello and question

Hello all! Just picked up my S1000rr last week. Can't get these 600 miles out of the way soon enough. The manual states that first service should be performed between 300 and 750 miles (I believe). Is that when rev limiter is removed? I doubt it if you are below 620 miles. I guess question is does the bike auto remove limiter at 620 or must it be done by dealer (and therefore doesnt make much sense to service before 620 miles). Thanks for any info.

Dealer has to do it or you buy the gs911 thing. They have to remove it with software

What he said ^^^^

Dealer does it w/their computer at your first service at ~600 miles. Or if you have the GS-911 tool, you can do it yourself. And the dealer does not really need to do your first service as long as you have all the tools to do it yourself. The odd tool to ensure you have is the special socket to torque the steering head properly.
