Hello to everyone on the forum.

Just bought a 2011 BMW S1000RR model a few weeks ago. It is a big change for me as my other bike is a 2007 Honda CBR1000RR. I think that i have done the best option.

Hi Chino,
Thanks for the welcomes.
Compared with the CBR i like the quick shifter, the power delivery and the facility of braking. I think that the worst thing in S1K is the steering damper.

sounds good. i'll be able to compare on Wednesday when i go on my first ride. is the steering damper adjustable on the 2011? i know it is on the 12. either way you can get an aftermarket one for not too much money

Hi Chino,
I think that is impossible any kind of adjustment in the steering damper.

Machado, welcome to the forum,
2011 doesn't have an adjustable damper, 2012 does have an adjustable one.

Ohlins steering damper goes in the stick location and works well - 18 clicks adjustable.
