Default Another H-town newb

Hi all, another Houston guy here (Clear Lake area). Currently waiting on my HP4 to arrive.

I've been riding a while and used to race in the CMRA in the late 1990s, Y2K. Three championships - one amateur and two expert. Used to instruct at Lone Star Track Days but had to quit that for the same reason as racing (kids).

I've owned a lot of bikes but the HP4 will be replacing a K3 GSXR1000 with KWS stage 2 mods and full Ohlins. Have hit just over 195 mph with the GSXR at the Texas Mile a couple of years ago.

Anyway, looking forward to the new ride and getting time to hit the track days again and possibly endurance race a bit (on another bike). I can't leave anything stock so I'm sure I'll find things to mod the HP4 with (namely power).

Good to be here!

Hero camera video here. It's un-edited so fast forward to the 2:00 mark and then give up after the run unless you like seeing the pit area....

Hello, I'm from Houston as well. Look forward to meets and some back road rides with other RR owners!
I spend a lot of time on motohouston where I go by my name same as here.
Be safe and enjoy your bike!

So how many posts before I can reply on the regular forums? I've been digging through the various "rules" and don't see it if there is one.

Looks like Houston is going to be on fire in 2013. I will see you there.
