New member in Tacoma, WA

Just wanted to say Hi. I've been lurking around for awhile trying to get back into sportsbike mode. I have an HD Fatboy now, but I rode an '03 R1 for several years when I lived in San Diego, running up and down Palomar Mtn. I really just miss that style of riding. Looking forward to my HP4 in a month or so, but I'll need all season radials to get much use out of it before spring.

Thanks, just a "little gift to myself. I thought I was set on the Panigale until I read about the bmw. Hopefully, it will live up to all of the reviews. Despite it being a good track bike, it seems DDC will be very helpful on the road, the power band much smoother for the road and less heat baking my rear end. The Duc is great to look at though. We'll see.

Welcome, Puyallup here, I am sure we will see you out and about. When will it be in Fife? I would like to go take a peek at it?

I just got an email from Southsound BMW and it's on its way. He said I should have it before Christmas, but no firm date yet.

If you need a trailer to pull it to MY house, just let me know.
I could be to SS BMW in oh, ... say 30 minutes.
