Default New Guy from Australia

Hey guys

Im Nemo,

here's my story, I was and always believed I'd be a Gixxer man until... well I work at a Motorcycle Dealership we sell BMW. Harley Davidson, and Ducati, I am employed as a Test Rider and until recently asked to jump back on the tools as a mechanic, which I have agreed to if I become a BMW Specialist, so in the meanwhile I was asked to take a 2010 S1000RR Sport for a test ride, I just do my mumble, jumble yeah ok time to thrash another turd bike, cos well nothing could beat my awesomest 185hp at the wheel, big cam and power commander K4 GSXR1000 with all its carbon fibre goodies and 5k of aftermarket products so I believed... So took this S1K out of the showroom floor went outside and lit the reds up. Oh yeah not bad 2980 kilometers on the clock sweet engines been run in lets see what its got. Fire the start button chchBRAP!!! I almost **** myself this thing was f***ing loud, I walked around the bike to see what abomination of an exhaust was on this f***er, close inspection I saw Akrapovic Muffler, no cat instead a 2" pipe from a 4 into one collector from some fat extractors, which later I found out was a full race Akrapovic system, anyways I hopped on the bike left the dealership hang a sweeping left onto the freeway punch 1st to 11000 rpm quickshift second rev out to 11500, first thoughts were "f*** this feels like my gixxer but the power delivery is so much smoother" anyways long story short I come back to the dealership and pointed to the BMW Salesman then to the bike then to myself and signaled that the bike was to be mine. I turned it off went straight to the salesman and grabbed the sold sign and gave him a deposit. So as to be this bike was to be mine, so I am a converted Gixxer to S1000RR rider, and so far have sold at least 4 of these bikes over Ducati. So thats it new s1000rr rider.
