Default BMW next? -UK-

Hi all, turned 46 yesterday!!! so been biking now since 98 and still lovin' it. Seen a few mates give up but then again some of us keep moving up the ladder towards the ultimate high on 2 wheels. I've had GXSR's, ninja's etc. but 2 years ago I thought I would try something a bit different and got a Triumph Daytona 955i (a bit slow but I love that noise of the triple) and now my mates have got newer and faster bikes and I'm starting to feel left behind. So I've test riden the BMW S1000rr at the dealership and totaly loved it so I've joined here to get some more info before I buy a used bike.

At the price used ones are selling for-you can't go wrong.Just bear in mind some will be out of warranty soon. Also make sure it is full spec(abs, dtc, quickshifter etc.)not that many base models were sold.

Hi and welcome to the forum, hertford are my dealer and have been fantastic to me since i first bought the S1KRR back in 2010, i have recently ordered the new 2012 model and it arrives in march (can't wait) so my 2010 will be traded in then. It is a silver one and is totally mint so if interested in that colour you couldn't go wrong with mine as its been great from day one and only has 3800 miles on it.
