Default From the Yamaha R6 to the BMW S1000RR!!

Well folks, guess this is my intro to the forum! I've been a Yamaman for over 10 years of racing, and 2012 will bring new experiences as I try to tame the S1000RR beast while still fighting for the German championships!! Glad to be apart of the forum and see ya all 'round the forum'!

Reese aka Mo!!

I did the same thing, had an AMA spec motor in my 08 R6...rode that for 46k miles and came home from my honeymoon last month to see my 6 gone and a thunder grey S1KRR in her place...couldn't be happier...and I weigh 150lbs with gear on, can't keep the front end down at top of 3rd..lol

Congrats brotha and good luck out there under the lights!

Thanks for all the post! I've ridden nothing but Yamaha's til now. I'm excited but cautious of the power that the beast possesses too!

It's winter time in Germany, so I won't be able to stretch the 1000RR legs til spring, but I'm considering the BMW test camp in Almeria also. I might get lucky, they open Hockenheimring on Sunday's for street bikes if the weather is nice......right now that's a pretty big IF!! See ya all soon and thanks again!
