Talking Thinking about selling my MV to buy a S1000RR

Don't get me wrong I love the MV but the BMW looks like a good bike (and I have had 6 other BMWs).

Is there anything I should know before I buy one?? am thinking of getting the new 2012 model when it comes out

never owned an MV, although they do look and sound wicked, only other sportbike i've ever owned is my aprilia mille. Test drove the duc 1098 and ape rsv4 before the s1k, and the s1k is the one that scared me. Can't imagine anyone not absolutely loving this bike, doubt you'd be disappointed.

I just came off a 2008 Ducati 1098s to the S1000rr and I have not looked back after the first 10min on it You will love it. If I had some extra cash I's buy that MV I'd love to have one next to the BMW.

was down talking to Andy from MV Agusta Houston last week, he hates the S1000RR, why, because he figures he has lost at least 20 bike sales to it, his opinion, the S1000RR is one hell of a bike and nothing elses out there touches it bang for the buck.

That from an MV dealer. that said he thinks the S1K is ugly as hell, me I like the way it looks asymetric headlights esp. (eye of the beholder and all that)

Not surprised. Aprilia dealer in CO told me BMW was just another jap I4 made in Germany, and his store sells BMW too. i also like the fact i can have arguably the best sportbike on the road for $17K. to get that equivalent in cars, it'd be a $150K 911 turbo. I'm sure the augusta dealer doesn't like it when his bikes are $20k+ i think. still baffled Harley bought them, but would be fun to see an MV engine in a softail

all i could add id the fact that u will not be dissapointed..

dont get me wrong the mv is lovely but in all honesty (and iv ridden a few) its not a scratch on the s1, mainly because its design is getting quite dated and its track focus, but for road and track the bm is hard to beat.....
