Default Newb from Austin TX

Getting ready to buy a new bike, thought this would be a great place to start. Riding this right now,

Ride a CBR600RR on the track. Soooo, sell me on the BMW.

No need to, looks like you have a very capable street bike right there. If you like Ducati's, the 1199's will be out soon.

The Panigale looks great but I think I'm done with Ducati for now. The BMW looks like a great ride and I like inline 4's. That's why I kept a 600RR for the track.

The BMW is great. There is nothing like the rush of acceleration when hitting the upper revs. It is amazing, and intoxicating. I have only demo rode a few Ducatis I always wanted one, just not sure I would like the twin vs in line 4.

welcome, am sure you will love the S1RR, if BMW didnt make the S1RR I would be getting the 1199s, but there isnt anything out there I would rather have than the Bavarian Beast
