Default Big THANKS to Adam over at Motowheels!!

Long story short... I went w/some buddies dirt riding, borrowed my buddy's KX450 - quite the beast Anyway, bent one of his unbreakable ASV levers. Unfortunately he didn't register the warranty information and no longer had the receipt.

So Adam over at Motowheels helped me out w/the warranty claim and got with Arvin, ASV's warranty guy, and worked it all out. Just got a send it back in now.

Thanks again Adam, great work!

I have those ASVs on my CRF450. I actually bent one too, but I just bent it back. You must have really done a number on it!

It was kinda weird... The bar/brush protectors didn't even move and somehow I managed to bend the lever. IMO it is a perfect shorty now, even bends up/out right where my two fingers went. But since he was pretty proud of his ASVs I thought I'd try and do the right thing and get him a new lever. Plus I felt bad and always like to return something in as good a shape as when I took it. Where it bent, it is sticking out at a 90* angle and the part of the lever that stretched a little due to it bending is cracked. So if he bends it back, I'm thinking it'd break for sure. I told him to break it anyway, so that there is no question when it gets returned ("bent" vs. "broke").

Good point.... my buddies do know that I eat and breath by my integrity... and know that if I break it I buy it or fix it. Same offer I give to them with my race bikes (at least my B-bike )... they are welcome to ride it at the track, just fix it if you toss it down the track and I'll even help.
