Brembo radial master cylinder was the product which affected the braking system world in the last ten years. Designed for racing usage, during the years it became more and more appreciated also for the Supersport bikes and sometime for naked too, just remaining a product absolutely of racing nature, still present nowadays in MotoGP.
The structural radial scheme also allows to project a master cylinder with the aim to implement the hydraulic and mechanical ratios so as to improve the performance of the product. Up today, for twin disc systems, two models of master cylinders were available: 19 x 18 and 19 x 20. The choice between these two models was due to the different feeling that each of them gives to the rider: the 19 x 18 more adjustable, with a working stroke slightly higher than the 19x20, the 19 x 20 more aggressive.
Now, after more than 10 years of absolute leadership, this product has been updated by a series of technical relevant news, all coming from MotoGP, which led to the realization of the new racing radial master cylinder.
