Hello, I read you had a 2010 with stock headers but a cat delete link pipe and yoshi muffler? I have 11 with stock headers and Dan Moto cat delete link pipe with an Akra short muffler. I have no PCV fitted and I get the odd backfire on throttle blips when down shifting. Also from a closed throttle say in neutral, when I give it gas up to 3000rpm I sometimes feel a slight hesitation just above idle rpm. I plan on getting a PCV but I was wondering a few things
1. Will the std ECU learn and adjust air/fuel setting to eliminate the hesitation/backfire?
2. Would fitting a BMC race air filter help with the current factory std ECU air/fuel setting?
3. Would blocking the pair valve with out a PCV fitted help the ECU learn/adjust to my deleted cat exhaust?
4. Am I risking damaging my engine by not running a PCV with this exhaust set-up? ( I ride it hard )
5. What would be a good map for the PCV to suit my hybrid system? I'm in Australia and we run 95 or 98 octane fuel..THANK YOU
