I made the brackets myself out of stainless, drilled a couple of holes and bent it .. cost 15min of my time. (got the sheetmetal strip from an of-cut at the sheetmetal shop.
I got the light from bikemonkey.com.au, send them an email and they will help you out, great guys to deal with.

Hey 01 BMW...I was wondering where you got those brackets from for your license plate. Imitation is the best form of flattery, right? Also, did you get your plate light directly from Comp Werkes? I called them to try to get one but they said they won't sell individual parts from their kits...
