Default Annual service, now bike is buzzier?

So I just took my bike in yesterday for its first annual service. It has about 2600 miles on it. The thing I noticed the most was how much more vibration was noticable on the bike riding it home.

Anyone else experience this?

Can you expand on what was done to your bike during the service?

Basic stuff as far as I know. Oil and filter change. Tire pressure. Chain(which I told them not to do since I just had the 520 put on a couple hundred miles ago). They did some routine computer stuff. And apparently they replaced a sticker on the inside which had a campain out on it.

Cripes...I got the 6000 mile service done a couple of weeks ago and I just got done writing in another post that my bike seems smoother than ever. There's just no predicting, is there?

I can't think of anything they might do during a simple oil change that would cause a problem. Did they forget to tighten the LL fairing panel, maybe?

I dont even know. I mean, I was feeling it in the grips and very strongly in the foot pegs. This was not the case when I rode it in. I also know they changed the tire pressure(I could feel it) when I specifically told them not to.

I don't know, Hyper. Set the pressure back to your preference and see if it helps, I guess.

Yeah, thats the first place Ill start. Other thing is, and this is getting nitpicky, the bike came back dustier also. Looked like it was covered in a layer of filth. I had already waited 2 hours for them to get done and wasnt about to wait another 30 minutes for them to wash it. A bit disappointed to say the least.

Unfortunately, with the hurricane heading my way, I wont see riding weather till next week at least.

Batten down and stay safe. We've got a couple of days before it reaches us.

Don't know what to say about the dealership or whoever it was that serviced your bike. I am rarely 100% satisfied with any dealership I associate with, be it car, motorcycle or any other kind. I choose to think I'm part of the problem by setting unrealistic expectations.

Within spec. The thing is though, I had asked them not to touch my chain anyway since I just had the 520 conversion installe a few hundred miles ago. Regardless, if they didnt touch the chain, it wasnt as buzzy on the ride up to the shop.
