Default Just got back from the 600 mile service. (Shift light still 7K)

I didn't get a chance to take her above 9k to make sure the lower rev limiter was gone but I was suprised to see the shift light come on at 7K as usual. I guess that is something I have to change? Is that easy or do most people just leave it there?

Instructions are in the owners manual. Fairly easy and it gives u options like brightness and blink speed as well.

Same thing with my bike after the initial service, you have to change the shift light yourself. I changed mine because it was so annoying to have the light come on at 7K, reset mine set to 13K.

Well I figured it out. It was not easy. I got it set to 12K and to flash bright.

If you're not moving, the shift light will always come on at 7K. It's intended purpose is to let you know where you're at revs wise for a standing start. This happens regardless of your shift light settings.
