Qs about Changing oil

So the bike that I'm interested in buying comes with a 3yr/30000 mile warranty. The original ower of the bike said the oil change is required for the month of May. I was told the dealer charges $100 for this (synthetic oil, filter, labor) If i change my own oil , would it void the warranty? Also plan on adding an exhaust w/ power comander.

Changing your own oil will not void your warranty... if you still have concerns, just make sure you save your receipts. I never have saved receipts, I change all my own oil, and never had a problem w/warranty work (on any vehicles).

Thanks for the feedback. We all know how stealerships work. They can say i voided it by not taking the bike in to get serviced. Thanks again for clearing that up.
