tool/software/equipment for reseting service indicator?

Hello,

Done a little research here and am confused now. Would like to know what I need to reset a service indicator light. I do all my own maintenance but this is my first BMW, so the service indicator is new to me for a motorcycle. not sure if a GS-911 will reset the service light or not. yes, no? I've seen conflicting reports? if not what do I need to purchase to clear the service indicator light?

I think Hard Racing (vendor on here) had a Group Buy at one time on them... you might check w/them on some pricing.

I'm in the same boat as you... do my own service. It works great.
