Default Praise for my local dealership w/recall

I had gotten word by the dealership I bought my bike from about the recall and had my bike brought in as early as possible. At time of purchase(July) I had the drop sensor installed because I thought it was important but not on the recall yet.

On the first occasion I brought the bike back, they only did part of the recall as they didnt have all the parts. They were quick to give me a refund for the drop sensor install and said they would reschedule when the parts came in.

I was too lazy to follow up since the bike seemed to be working fine. The dealership called me last week though saying they wanted to clear their files for the year and still had my RO open in the shop. Asked if I could bring the bike back to finish the recall. I said the bike was stored away for the winter now and was just too damned cold to ride it up there(40 mins). I asked if I could just wait till the spring to have it done.

The service guy(Charlie) said they wanted to get it cleared so they offered to have my bike picked up and brought back for $20 round trip. I said, thanks but Id wait till the spring and save the $20. No less than 4 seconds later he said, fine we will do it for free.

Not only that but the driver was standing next to him and was at my house about an hour later to pick it up. This was last Thursday and I just got the call that my bike was being delivered back to me today around 1ish.

Very happy with that service. The dealership is Cross Country BMW in Metuchen, NJ. So far from the demo ride, to the purchase to any service needs the dealership has been stellar. They have great communication and offer monthly group rides(which have been awesome). I highly recommend anyone looking for service or to purchase from this dealership. If you're looking for a great salesperson ask for Maire.
