Key Barrel Sticky

We have suffered from bad weather the last few days and the key is starting to get a bit tight and sticky in the barrel, is it ok to use clean engine oil to help free things up?

I would recommend you go to a locksmith or a hardware store and get some lock fluid with powdered graphite in it. That is generally the traditional remedy.

If you have any, a drop of DuraLube will work. It free's up the lock on the house when it gets jammed up.

any grease will work fine i use syn bearing stuff .
