Default Race Ready: removing the rear tail light plug

Hi,

I have tried to remove the plug to de-activate the rear tail light with no success and since I dont whant to break it I ( have either big fingers or very bad skills).

Can someone help me by guiding me on this?

It's a push plug, BMW decided the push part should be in the worst possible spot with that connector, on the bottom of the plug where there is almost no room to get a finger in there.

Mine was zipped tied to the rear sub frame on the right side of the bike, once you clip the zip tie, you should be able to gain easy access to it and up plug it.

So basically, I have to find someone with tiny fingers and ask to push up?

Heck, I had my wife try to get in there... you need something other than tiny fingers. I used a little 90* tool that I could reach underneath it and then push on the button. It came right off. That being said... once unplugged, when you pull on the brakes, you'll get the LAMPR error on the dash. Just an FYI.

It's a crappy design but you can get it off. just pull out a bit and the plug slides out.
