I've heard that stuff doesn't "stick" to the chain as good... any truth to that? I've been using Chain Wax... and it's pretty darn sticky... but expensive too. Let us know what your experience is... Teflon has good anti-friction characteristics.

I've tried most of the chain lubes over the years including chain wax and teflon and was not pleased with their performance. I get the best results with Honda chain lube. It's clear, clean and doesn't fling off. I use the Honda lube on several bikes. Chain and sprocket wear is kept to a minimum.

300 miles on my S1 and i still haven't lubed the chain.

I can recommend using Wurth Dry Lube...no mess, no fling off. I would never use anything else.

Depending on the length of my rides I service my chains between 500 and 1000 miles. The first thing I did when I bought this bike was cleaned the factory wax off and lubed with Repsol chain lube. I use KEROSENE to clean which works great then I lube, I've been doing this for years with no probs. I found the wax's and other heavy lubes I've tried flung everywhere creating a mess including on the back of my jackets. For longevity keep them clean and you can use almost anything for lube.
