ABS/DTC problem.
Hi to everybody. Got my bike 2 days ago. Waited for 2 month almost. Imported from US, bcs of i have no bmw motorrad dealer.
ABS and DTC flashes, u can see on video. When you start driving, they go off. When stop, starting flash again. Called to dealer, from whom i purchased it, he said, that, when you turn off the bike, the abs and dtc reset themself, and when you start the engine, they are starting the self checking. Is it right, or there is something wrong and i should start thinking about the GS-911?

When you start the bike they should flash. Once you start moving they should stop and not come back on unless they are activated. There is nothing wrong with your bike.

The ABS and DTC light will flash 1/sec until you start rolling the bike for a fe meters, this will allow the ECU to check the sensors and the system before you head of to those great speeds.
However you have another light going on, "Brake Failure". That is not "normale", I've just checked my S1KRR, and that light should not be flashing.
If you have the GS911, you could do a system check and see what could be wrong, if not take it to the dealer.

I don't know if this is relevent or not. My new 2012 never left the service department and it was diagnoised with a bad control module. I posted about it in a previous thread. The day they were loading up the bike to deliver it - the bike shut off and then restarted with a CEL - check engine light staying on. After being in contact with BMW tech support my dealer and tech support determined bad control module. My build date for my RR is 9/11. Curious to the build date of your RR.
Good luck,
Bruce
