Default Torque specs help

Hey I had a small accident not long ago. a dent in my left case and replacing it right now but im not sure what the torque specs are on those 3 bolts? Can anyone help me with this question? thanks

I found out its 3 Nm..

Are these the one time use aluminum bolts? And are you reusing them or going with new ones?

The reason I ask is because they are supposed to be one time use. I personally reused mine and retorqued to ~5 ft-lbs. If you get new ones, I believe that it is 3Nm, then an additional 90* turn. Just be careful, those guys are aluminum and it SUCKS if you break one off in your engine side of the casing (I know )

Im not sure but the dealer told me only ones on the outside so i did and does are 7 Nm inside i may hope not but i was also thinking about it so i gave a bit more I also already sealed it so lets hope for the best
Btw any idea how long i have to wait to let the sealer dry?

Depends on the sealant used... just make sure you used one that is gas/oil (petroleum) resistant (not all are). The tube should give you all that info though.

Nothing which i will add new but would confirm what 1000RR wrote...
I didnt replace them and snapped their head off.... lesson learnt there itself....RTFM lol


Engine cover, left, to crankcase

M6 x 35, Replace screw
Initial torque, 3 Nm

Final torque, 90°

M6 x 45, Replace screw
Initial torque, 3 Nm

Final torque, 90°

If you can provide a picture, i can fetch from REPROM
