Default Canadian rider: cost effective insurance

Hey - I am looking to purchase a S1000RR next month is I can find a cost effective insurance in Canada (Quebec).
Please let me know is you have any good suggestion! if I can find any I am gonna have to change my mind and go for a naked!

Best rate I could find was with State Farm.....most of my riding buddies are also insured with State Farm.....

Every province is different, and Quebec is a LOT different. You'll need to find some locals to look at alternatives. What I've always done is to use the car/house/life insurance as a lever to get a good price for the bikes, that could work to your advantage too.

I did a lot of research here in Toronto. The best agency is State Farm. Its about $200 a month. If you have a car/truck/suv with them you can get it down to $123.

most riders I know including myself have State Farm here in Toronto. As long as you have 2 tickets are less you'll be a tier B customer ($200 something / month). If you get car insurance from them too, they'll move you to tier A ($100 something / month).
