Entirely by coincidence we were down there for it.

It was really quite a set-up. The weather was pretty bad on Saturday. The first drops of a pretty lousy storm started just as Chris Pfeiffer <sp> was finishing. He was frigging awesome!

The beer tent and food was great, the music hadn't started by the time we left. All the folks were very nice. Didn't get too much of a look at any of the tons of vendors as the rain was pretty aweful and I was carting a cold 4yo on my shoulders. We were just down for vacation and had no idea that it was going on. They were letting folks demo al sorts of things, including a track for Huskys.

Just across the border in Austria there were some speed traps. And, as usual I guess, they Austie police were gettting you for not having a Vignette for Autobahn travel. There was also some Ferrari event in Berchesgarten too.

WIll be back down that way again this weekend, this time on an RT.

HI Paul

I was actually mentioning if anyone was going to the GP Moto on the 16 July in Germany at chemnitz.

You are mentioning the BMW days in Garmish which happened this last week end.

Anyhow i was there as well, and i ended it up with a mix opinion. For sure a lot of bikers were there so it was great for meetings people and all, but all the shops presenting their brands were just there for promoting but not selling. So you look what you would like and after they tell you to go to the dealer where you live.

Foods was pretty good, even if i thought that the price was kinda of pricey (beers etc), and the concert at night was really really good. Hope you went there?

Sir,

I WAS there, but hadn't planned to be.
I DO agree with your opinion on prices, but about what everywhere else was I have been 'round here, but at least the folks were nice.
Didn't get the chance to chat with vendors to know one way or other re. selling or not.

Will be travelling to Italy this weekend for a last trip, taking an RT, and should be fun, if longer driving than I would otherwise like.

The 1200 Rt is a lot of fun to ride. I was shocked at how fast I could ride it, bags and all...
