I had an engine let go 5 minutes after first service (and removal of 9K limit).

New engine fitted and ready to go within a week and an F800R to use free of charge while the work was carried out.

Oh,and a free Ti Akra exhaust (for my trouble).

The only other issue i've heard of in the UK meant a return of a S1000RR with 150 miles on the clock.

The buyer hadn't 'sought the wife's permission' before purchase

So there's a hardly used fully-kitted s1000 in Motorad colours for sale at Coopers Sunderland.

Just had my sub-frame replaced f.o.c. as removal of the rear foot rests showed that the bolts and fixings in the frame were not properly lined-up...and broke off.

Still, all sorted now and the service by Lind BMW Norwich was great - pick up and return the bike at the specifically agreed times to suit...meant I'm still a v.happy customer

I'm working within the UK dealer network and can report very few issues with S1R... which is nice.

Default Delivery dates

Bit off topic
Are the delivery dates / waiting time to UK about 6 weeks?
Or would that be optimistic
