It's been awhile, and I wanted everyone to know about several advances in app since I first posted here in June.
Most importantly, the number of rides has been steadily increasing. We now offer over 3,000 rides and over 4,000 comments, all contributed by other bikers. They're scattered around the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, Italy, New Zealand and dozens of other countries. With the snow on the ground up north, Australia and New Zealand are getting active again with more new routes.
We've streamlined the "Flag" system to make it easy for you to give a thumbs-down to rides that are invalid entries rather than just something you're not interested in. Anyone with the app can flag a ride for us to review and remove or merge. "My house to laundromat" just isn't going to be interesting for anyone ;-).
We've added better user profiles to help you get an idea for each others' viewpoints when adding comments. You can add your city and your bikes, plus you get badges for adding a whole bunch of new routes or comments.
Greatest Road helps you daydream about, er, plan for those sweet rides next summer, so go ahead and give it a whirl.
