Talking Good Dyno Run

Dyno Run this morning with my 2010 S1000RR with 24,0000 miles, stock motor, stock exhaust, Carbon Fiber wheels with a PCV with the stock map from Dynojet.

191HP with Stock Exhaust & PCV

Next week installing Akrapovic Evo Titanium w/Carbon Muffler with Dan Kyle's Custom Map.

Maybe 200HP?

That good number. Did you ever vet a base line Dyno bone stock. That way you can see real gain.

Nice numbers but the pic is way flashed out. Can you post a better pic of the graph? I'd be more interested in the curve than the total HP.

While I can't really convert the MPH to RPM in my head, it looks like you are extremely lean. While it will make great power on a dyno, in the real world you will loose power and it ain't good on the motor. Anything above 8k RPM should be in the 13.2 range unless you track, then I would aim for 13 or maybe 12.8. Below 8k the throttle doesn't go to 100%, plus the loads are more in the 70-80 range which tolerates leaner conditions much better.

I see our local Harley dealer is having some "Men's Night" thing coming up and offering 'free' dyno runs.

Wonder if they would take my BMW S1000RR in on it? Might have to take a lot of guff though...or they'll skew my print-out results to that of a 1949 H-D or something.

It's worth a shot but you may want to bring some friends to avoid getting lynched!

Got a link?
