NO. You need to replace the stock exhaust to eliminate the butterfly valves, which are throttling the engine at those RPM's. From what I can learn, almost any of the full exhausts will fill in this flat spot. I used an AK full exhaust on mine and picked up 12 HP at 7500 rpm.

Your bike will run smoother with the PC5.
