Default Tips for Bazzaz TPS calibration problem for the BMW S1000RR

My TPS gauge on the Bazzaz ZFi software Mapper on the Dyno was fluctuating madly like an old WW1 Russian fighter jet plane gauge!! It was never related to what the throttle position is, meaning if throttle was opened at 100% it would go like this (moving madly )40,20,50,30,70,50,80,60,90,80 then it would struggle to stay at 100% as it should be.

I called the Bazzaz technical department and told them about my TPS issue and they recommended few things I should do to cure the problem, First is to change the ground wire of the Bazzaz system, preferably to be the battery if possible, if not to move it to another place, second thing is to calibrate the TPS only on the dyno (which I didn’t do before) and not while standing with ignition on only, meaning for the full 100 % you can choose 4th gear on the dyno and give it full and take the reading before it reaches the cut off. The reading for TPS calibration should be 0.71v for 0% and 1.61v for 100%.

Best regards,

Default My TPS is now working OK with the Bazzaz

Thanks for Bazzaz suggestion to move the ground (negative) of the Bazzaz system from the original place (along with the clutch cable mount) to the negative of the bike's battery, now the TPS is working with the Bazzaz system as it should be, no more fluctuation or moving around, just accurate as it should be, i just tested it on the Dyno.

Hope all owners who fitted Bazzaz system benefit from this.
