Austin Full GP3 or Cut GP3?
I've looked at many exhausts and listened and I think my decision is between AR full system gp3 and cut gp3. The basics:
Full system
Pros:
High/mid Hp gains
Cons:
Price, I have to save up for a bit
Low end Hp loss
ARCS
Pros:
Cost, I can it get sooner
Low end hp gains
Keeps headers/valves
Cons:
Less Hp, cutting stock
less mid/high end Hp
Questions are:
1. Sound difference?? Both sound similar I think?
2. Fuel consumption, probably depends on map, but if mapped similar, does arcs get better mpg? (I know, who cares if you're buying a racing exhaust, but anyway)
3. HP and use of system, my bike will be for 3-4x/yr track use, but mostly street use, so is it true that low end gains are better with arcs and retaining valves?
Looking for any input, normally I go for 'the best' and just suck it up wallet wise, but as far as full vs cut, I'm not sure if there is a 'best,' just 'different'.
(Of course.... if the full system low end gains are the same as arcs, then the full system I guess is 'the best'). Anyway, ppl with ar22 or arcs, or other full vs midpipe comparisons, input welcomed. The cost difference is big, so I'm curious if I REALLY need the full system for my amateur ambitions.

We are testing the full system soon so many questions will be answered. Both sound very similar but the full system is a little louder. We are testing new headers with the GP3 full system, results soon.

My advice, given the info you shared, is you should go with the ACRS, and the Austin can of your choice, but the key point is to add a PC5 for the mid-range results. You don't need the full system to realize the performance you want. And the PC5 can be ordered with the ACRS map installed. Good luck.

Thx man, I think you're right. What about bazzaz system vs pc5, everyone seems to be talking that up

PC5 w/ ACRS map, hands down. Check with Hard Racing.

If u want a ready map that was tuned for another bike somewhere on earth, then go for PC5 If u want a specific map and want the maximum from your bike then go for Bazzaz

I got the ARCS GP3 and PC5, gained 13hp with that. The map that AR have done for that pipe is great and they will email it to you.

Can you expand on your logic/reasoning?

I definitely don't know enough to explain.

I meant that those who fitted the Bazzaz system were getting high increase in HP figures like mujahed1969, jblaze2001, and hopefully me by next week when I fully tune it on the dyno by targeting a leaner AFR than the previous 12.7
It seems that Travist1161732 wants it the easy way (ready map), becuase there is no ready map for the Bazzaz system
