Default My 196.2 hp dyno with Austin Racing ARCS - Bazzaz (ZFi + Z-AFM)- Driven Block plates

I dyno my 2010 BMW S1000RR bike yesterday @ night and I have the following mods on it:
Austin Racing ARCS Exhaust - Bazzaz (ZFi + Z-AFM) - Driven Block Plates - MWR Air Filter
My dyno numbers were (193,196,195)

Few things that I think didn’t help reach the best from the bike:

-The last oil service was the 1st 1000km (600 miles) service and was done in sept 2010 and now the mileage on the bike is 8500km (5281 miles)
-The very hot and humid weather here in Bahrain
-Maybe because I never lubricated the chain or sprockets
-They said the bike was running bit rich and needed tuning. My target
AFR is set @ 12.7 for summer ride

My friend stock 2011 BMW S1000RR got (193,189,189) hp results

My friend 2010 Hayabusa (full single Akrapovic exhaust + pipercross airfilter + Bazzaz (ZFi + Z-AFM) - Driven Block Plates got (204,203.201)

A 2008 ZXR with exhaust and airfilter + Juicebox got 172 hp result

Could the experts comment on my dyno graph especially my AFR and how much do u think I’m losing because of this?

your friend stock are making 190whp +- so lets say your making about +-6whp average gain ...

I would have rather liked to see the gain by modiffication(air filter, etc...)
Remember that the dyno is simply a tool based ,then this chart does not tell me much

but hey 196whp must be a very strong bike!! have fun

Looks like you are running fairly rich, weaken off to 13.1 should give higher power figures through the range. Saying that, 196 is not at all bad.

VERY VERY HAPPY. I don't see how one could complain! Imagine if he saw my 170 stock numbers and 176 modded numbers he would be selling the bike from the sounds of it. This is why we have high reading dynos because of customers like this that want to see "high numbers"

for cars, this dyno actually dynoes less whp when properly calibrated. It doesn't work like a dynojet, where it is self/pre calibrated with .cfg sent from dynojet. You have to input the calibration data, which gives a higher possbility for human error.

When i saw this, it didnt make any sense to me that a stock s1000rr will dyno 193whp stock on 91 octane on a dynojet SAE corrected, so this dyno was probably calibrated to read more than dynojet.

Nevertheless, since you and your friend dynoed in the same dyno, then you can tell you made 5-6whp more with your mods, which is good average gain for people with similar mods.

.
Bahrain's pump octane is 95 RON

From Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers website: "The Mainline/DynoLog dyno is committed to dyno accuracy, and follows the approach that the chassis dyno should determine a vehicle's power rather than the dyno operator. Accordingly, the control system does not allow the operator to modify or otherwise "fudge" results. Mainline/DynoLog dynos are recognised as the true & trusted standard for accuracy, consistency and repeatability throughout the industry."

95 RON is = 91 AKI.

If Mainline is not properly calibrated, it wont give you the correct dyno numbers.
